The Wolves came out shooting Tuesday, hitting four-three pointers alone in building a 20-7 lead after one quarter. The second quarter belonged to Youngsville who used nine points from Koby Hendrickson, a bucket from Alex Hill and a pair of free throws from Ethan Senz to cut the deficit to just six points at the break, 26-20.

Kane would push the advantage to 11 points by the end of third, hitting four additional three-pointers in the third quarter, but it was a 20-10 edge in the final quarter that ultimately pushed the Eagles into Wednesday’s consolation contest.

Hendrickson finished with a team-best 19 points for the Eagles and Hill finished with seven points. Keegan Mesel, Senz, Nathan Lucks, Blake Myers and Ethan Beers also found the scoring sheet in defeat for Youngsville.
