Eisenhower, Warren x-country runners find individual success

Joe Mistretta claimed a top-10 finish among the boys, and Kierra Wismar, Emily Grosch and Madison Carthcart finished third, sixth and seventh respectively among the girls to highlight Eisenhower’s cross country meet with Corry on Friday.

Mistretta posted a time of 21:53 — Corry prevailed 16-47 — while Wismar finished in 24:40, Grosch in 25:48 and Cathcart in 25:54 as Corry was victorious, 20-39.

In junior high results, Corry won the boys race 22-33 and the girls race 23-32.

Easton Fitzgerald (10:53), Alex Lund (12:46), Carson Ferman (13:45), Brice Ludwick (14:10) and Isaiah Reagle (14:27) placed fourth, fifth, seventh, eighth and ninth respectively for the Eisenhower boys.

In the girls race, Bryn Lindell (13:06), Izzy Grosch (13:07), Cassady Ferino (13:42), Callie Delp (14:59) and Autumn Howick (17:44) placed fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and 10th respectively.

WARREN

Warren senior Shyann Rulander and freshman Morgan Alexander finished first and second, respectively, on Thursday in a 15-50 team win at Union City. For the Warren boys, in a 29-26 loss, Sam Lindell finished first.

Warren’s cross country team is at Corry on Tuesday.
