The event is designed to introduce area student-athletes to the sport of cross country in a fun and supportive environment while also getting the opportunity to compete in a race.
The top 10 finishers in each race will win a T-shirt. The fastest time of the day will win a gift card in honor of Robert A. Liebers, who was a local attorney and running enthusiast who was very supportive of area runners. He believed “anyone can be a runner with a good pair of shoes and a pair of socks.”
The cost of the event is $10. Registration needs to be postmarked by Oct. 3.
More information and registration forms can be found on the Jamestown Athletics website at: www.jpsny.org/athletics.
