In a very good contest between A@B Heating and the American Legion, A@B Heating came out on top after a seven-run third inning.

The American Legion’s Wesley Wilcox turned in a stellar performance on the mound with six strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings.

But with two outs and a runner on first, A@B Heating’s Wyatt Wilson hit his second in-the-park home run of the season. Not to be outdone, Cole Fitzgerald hit an in-the-park home run of his own the very next batter. Logan Ristau hit a triple and Taige Davis hit and in-the-park home run himself to finish up the seven-run inning.

The bats would go cold for A@B the rest of the game. Wyatt Wilson came in and only allowed two runs to score in three innings of work on the mound, striking out seven batters. Logan Ristau came in relief to finish the game.

For the American Legion, Ramsey Williams, Braylon Haskins and Alexander Lund all had RBIs. Joseph Fanelli and Brayden “Smalls” Frank each had a base hit in the contest. Lund and Frank both pitched in relief with neither allowing a runner on base.
