It was all Youngsville on Friday as the Eagles shut out Eisenhower 10-0 in a baseball game at Legion Field.

The Eagles scored four runs in the first inning and four more in the second to open up an 8-0 lead. Nate Lucks was dynamite on the mound as he threw 75 pitches, struck out eight and issued only one walk.

“Nate was very efficient on the mound, he had great control the whole game and he only gave up four singles on the day,” Eagles head coach Eddie Dorunda said.

The Eagles, meanwhile, had 10 hits, led by Matt Desimone with three. Lucks added two hits and three RBIs; and Talon Mesel chipped in a base hit and drove in two runs.

“(Desimone) continues to be red hot in the middle for us,” Dorunda said.

The Eagles are now 3-3 on the season while the Knights drop to 1-7.

Starting at $3.50/week.
