KYDC open house

The Kinzua Youth Development Center, located at 200 Struthers St. in Warren, invites the public to an open house featuring the presentation “Inside the Circle — KWC in Action” on Thursday from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet KYDC executive director Asha Waterstreet and members of the board of directors, enjoy light refreshments and watch a live wrestling practice. The session will showcase Warren County’s aspiring boys and girls wrestling teams as they prepare for the upcoming spring freestyle and summer folkstyle seasons.

Koltyn Eason, director of wrestling operations at the KYDC and head wrestling coach at Warren Area High School, along with Glenn Baldensperger, Warren County girls coach, will lead the workout.

“This event offers the community a behind-the-scenes look at our programs and the bright future of scholastic wrestling in Warren County,” said Asha Waterstreet. “We welcome everyone to come see the positive impact the Kinzua Youth Development Center is making on our young people.”

The open house is free and open to the public. No registration is required.

The Kinzua Youth Development Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering personal and social responsibility in children, adolescents, and young adults through positive youth development programs, including the Kinzua Wrestling Club.
