Softball camp

The Warren Dragons softball team will be hosting a youth camp Sunday, April 24 at the Lady Dragons softball field at the end of Plumber Street in North Warren.

Age groups include 1st-2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade, 5th-6th grade and 7th-8th grade. The camp will run from 1-4 p.m. and cost $30 per camper ($20 for additional siblings).

Trophies will be awarded in each age group for fastest time around the bases, longest hit off a tee and fastest overhand throw.

Campers will receive a T-shirt if registered by April 1. Updates and more information will be posted on the Lady Dragons Softball Facebook page.

The rain date is set for Sunday, May 1.

Bowling

Candy Vinopal’s 205-524 led the Youngsville Ladies at Valley Bowling Center.

Margie Peters rolled a 181-500, Jen Robinson had a 168-496, Cindy Shafer spun a 169-492 and Mary Grunden had a 180-474.
