Maplewood jumped out to a 26-9 lead after the first quarter en route to a 60-32 victory over Eisenhower in a girls basketball game Thursday night.

Moorehead scored 12 points and Thomas added 8 during the early run for the winners, who led 42-11 at halftime.

Lilly Smyth led the Knights with 14 points, MacKenzie Dunn had 9 and Bella Marino added 8.

On Wednesday, Eisenhower fell to Union City 47-13.

Marino led the Knights with 9 points.
