RUSSELL, Pa. — Chick Bello’s 37 topped the gross scores and Bill Hargenrader had three birdies on his way to a net 33 to pace the Senior Men’s Friday Golf League at Cable Hollow Golf Course.
Jerry Abbey and Ralph Keniston had the most match points with 8.5 apiece; John Bowler has the most points to date with 101.5; Art Ward, Rod Korbrar and Bello had two birdies apiece; Jon Vincent, Bill Petransky, Abbey and Gary Redick all had one birdie; and Abbey had six pars.

RUSSELL, Pa. — United Refining, made up of Ed Streich, Bruce Swanson, Rod Seymour and Jeff Irwin, won the overall championship over Ralph-E’s Pub in the Monday Senior League at Blueberry Hill Golf Course.
United Refining finished with 24.5 points while Ralph-E’s had 15.5 points.
Rich Zydonik, Clifford Jenkins and Kevin Hartley won the midseason tournament.
NAPA was closest to the pin, shooting over the pond at No. 17, coming to rest 59 inches away from the pin.
Voty’s, made up of Dick Craker, Karl Grosch, Jerry Carr and Denny Davis, won the end-of-year tournament with a net 30.
Morning Sun, consisting of Don Moore, Mike Suppa, Dave Moore and Jeff Turner, was second by a match of cards.
Wally Blyth was 70 inches away from the pin on No. 11 and Moore made a 34-foot putt at No. 14.

Warren, Pa. — Fred Franklin and Brandon Franklin teamed up for a 34 in the A-1 Flight in the front nine during the Monday Night League at Jackson Valley Golf Course. Casey Moyer and Bill Andrews had a net 33 in the A-1 Flight on the front nine.
In the A-2 Flight on the front nine, Joe Saber and Gary Freeborough had a scratch 34 while Fred Backhus and Ron Irwin had a net 34.
In the B-1 Flight on the front nine, Mike Moyer Jr. and Todd Gourley had a scratch 37 while Nick Wilcox and Jordan Basile had a net 37.
In the B-2 Flight on the front nine, Chet Munksgard and Tim Munksgard had a scratch 40 while Jim Walter and John Anthony had a net 38.

Denny Arthur led in points for the week with 9 followed by Ross Bevevino (8.5), Rob Carrington (8) and John Sabat (8).
Adam Sixt led on the front nine with a scratch 38 while Terry English was top senior with 40. Jordan Baker had a net 34 on the front nine while senior Terry Ressler had a net 33.
On the back nine Rob Ritchie had a scratch 34 and Bob Carrington led seniors with a 37. Mike Bonavita had a net 29 on the back nine while senior Jim Munksgard had a net 32.
