Golf leagues

Skete Williams and Matt Johnson teamed up for a 30 on the front nine in the A-1 Flight to lead the Monday Night League at Jackson Valley Golf Course.

The league was playing for the first time in two weeks.

Mark Silvis and Tim Watkins had a net 32 on the front nine in the A-1 Flight.

In the A-2 Flight on the front nine, Ryan Vik and Dave Spotts had a scratch 34 while Brandon Franklin and Fred Franklin had a net 38.

In the B-1 Flight on the back nine, Randy Carlson and Kihm Carlson teamed up for a scratch 33 while Rusty Wallace and Kevin Fiscus had a net 35.

In the B-2 Flight on the back nine, Bob Carrington and Jim Sudul had a scratch 41 while Bob Hamm and Jon Hamm had a net 40.

Kellie McClement led the A Flight with a scratch 45 and Nancy Larson had a net 33 during Ladies League play at Jackson Valley Golf Course.

Kris Moylan and Mary Beth Whiting both hit 15 putts in the A Flight.

In the B Flight, Wendy Lescynski had a scratch 53, Tracey Williams had a net 32 and Cindy Munksgard hit 17 putts.

Leigh Unen and Donna McDonald tied for low gross honors in the C Flight with 61s. Kelli Ford had a net 36 and Kathleen Clark hit 16 putts.

In the D Flight, Vicki Blackmer had a scratch 59 and hit 17 putts. Paula Britt had a net 22.

RUSSELL — Jim Casini and John Felton lead the Monday Night Paul Holmes League at Cable Hollw Golf Course with 129.50 points.

Craig Johnson and Pat Ward are second with 128.50 points while Mark Snarberg and Niel Rounds are third with 124.50 points.

Nathan Donsi Jr. and Duane Rosenhow were last week’s event winners.

RUSSELL — Adam Miller and Todd Hendricks lead the Tuesday Fitch League at Cable Hollow Golf Course with 56.50 points.

Jon Vincent and Cody Vincent are second with 54.50 points while Terry Gray and Teagan Gray are third with 45.50 points.

Chuck Moffett and Troy Jackson, Dave Klemens and Kyle Ristau, Adam Miller and Todd Hendricks, and Rick Rohlin and Henry Borger all tied for last week’s event.

RUSSELL — Sharon Birtcil and Barb Hill lead the Early League with 101.50 points while Kathy Bradshaw and Julie Fenton lead the Late League with 87.50 points in the Wednesday Ladies Leagues at Cable Hollow Golf Course.

In the Early League, Danelle Sowers and Jill Dart are second with 96 points.

In the Late League, Mary Gayton and Patty Hurtack are second with 86 points.

Barb Hill was last week’s event winner.

Hallie Dubia’s 45 led Ladies Day at Conewango Valley Country Club.

Mary Sue Golen had a net 37 followed by Janeal Hedman and Ruth Derby with 38s.

Dubia fired a 24 to win the special event, which was even holes. Dubia also hit the closest fourth shot on No. 12, stopping 18 inches away from the cup.

RUSSELL — Sharon Birtcil had a scratch 45 while also matching Deb Niederriter for low net with 37s during A Flight play in the Ladies League at Blueberry Hill Golf Course.

Margie Cerra had a scratch 49 and Sue Ferranto had a net 38. Birtcil and Niederriter shared tournament honors with 20s while Cerra had a 21. The tournament was score on odd holes.

In the B Flight, Jody Christensen had a scratch 49 and a net 34. Debbie Borst, Jackie Saber and Amy Stewart had scratch 52s while Saber and Stewart had net 36s. Saber won the tournament with a 20 while Borst and Darcy Marek had 21s.

Karen Beardsley led the C Flight with a scratch 53 and a net 35. Jeanna Morrison and Diedra Swanson had scratch 54s and net 37s. Beardsley, Lisa Christie and Bev Eldridge led the tournament with 24s while Deb Bialas, Jill Dart, Patti Larson, Jill Morley and Morrison had 25s.

Martha Betts and Karen Sobkowski had matching 54s to lead the D Flight while Sue Shields had a 58. Betts had a net 34 and Sobkowski had a net 35. Shields and Sobkowski had 24s to lead the tournament. Shelly Hoover had a 25.

In the E Flight, Linda Dies and Cindy Lodestro fired matching 61s while Jennie Caldwell and Young Hui Waite had matching 62s. Dies had a net 32 while Cheryl Clark and Lodestro had net 36s. Lodestro and Waite led the tournament with 25s while Clark had a 26.

Cindy Schuman led the F Flight with a scratch 61 and net 30 to go along with a 26 in the tournament. Beth Lundberg had a scratch 64, Amanda Slattery had a net 31 and Lundberg had a 27 in the tournament.

RUSSELL — Dick Craker’s 39 led the Monday Senior League at Blueberry Hill Golf Course.

Rod Seymour had a net 31.

Gene Conell made an eagle while Craker, Bob Buerkle and Ed Zieraiski each made a birdie.

Three teams tied for the top 18-hole better-ball score during Men’s Day at Conewango Valley Country Club.

Phil Simmons and Rick Brewster, George Adams and Gary Adams, and Bill Mahan and Dr. Pat Farrell all fired 61s. Shooting 62s were the teams of Bart Jensen and Mike Barber, Bill Turner and Ben O’Neill, and Jamie California and Sylas Cameron.

John Cook and Steve Phillips matched Calvin Rose and Jordan Wilson for the top 9-hole better-ball score with 31s.

Gary Adams, Nolan Ditcher and Joe Salvaggio all fired 35s to lead the 1st Flight. George Adams had a net 33 and Nate Sandberg had a net 34.

In the 2nd Flight, Bart Jensen had a scratch 38, Don Dubia had a 39 and Williard Foley had a 40. California fired a net 32 and Tom Yocum had a 34 while Steve Rothenburg and Kris Anthony had 35s.

Dr. Paul Ignatius led the 3rd Flight with a 42 while John Bevevino, Vance Lauffenburger and Dr. Jim Spangler fired 43s. Mike Montecalvo had a net 34 and Jim Vecellio had a 35.

O’Neill’s 44 led the 4th Flight and Dave See had a 46. Dr. Pat Farrell had a net 34, Bob Metzgar had a 35 and John Cook had a 40.

Casey Vincent earned skins at Nos. 12 and 13 while Bob McGinn earned a skin at No. 14.

Net skins were earned by Bevevino at No. 2, Martin Smith at No. 4, Rose at No. 5, Mahan at No. 12, Phil Mathyer at No. 13 and Nick Genco at No. 17.

Rose was closest to the pin at No. 5 and Casey Vincent made the longest putt at No. 9.
