WARREN, Pa. — Jordan Wilson and Justin Frederoski fired a 62 to claim the 18-hole better-ball competition on Men’s Day at Conewango Valley Country Club.

Dr. Bob Follett and Bob Metzgar tied Bill Bunk and Mark Espin with matching 64s.

Casey Vincent and John Lindsay shot a 29 to lead the 9-hole better-ball contest. Joe Bees and Mike Crossley shot a 30 while Myron Turfitt and Bill Turfitt tied John Cecco and Rob Kaemmerer with 31s.

Vincent led the 1st Flight with a scratch 36 while Rick Allen, George Adams and Lindsay had net 34s.

Kaemmerer led the 2nd Flight with a scratch 39. Don Dubia had a scratch 41 while Bunk and Bart Jensen had 42s.

Crossley’s 42 paced the 3rd Flight with a 42 while Nick Genco and John Bevevino had matching 43s. Dr. Bill Schuver had a net 34 and Andrew Bacchetti had a net 35.

In the 4th Flight, Espin had a scratch 41 and Randy Scalise had a 45. Cecco led the net scores with a 34 and Rob White had a 36.

Metzgar’s 45 led the 5th Flight and Phil Simmons fired a 48. Phil Mathyer and John Cook had matching net 35s.

Skins were earned by Genco on No. 1, Andrew Papalia on No. 9, Adams on No. 11, Bevevino on No. 15, Scott Pearson on No. 13 and Andrew Gignac on No. 18.

White was closest to the pin on No. 5 and Nolan Ditcher made the longest putt on No. 9.

RUSSELL, Pa. — Bob Wolfe and Bill Petransky fired matching 39s to lead the Monday Senior League at Blueberry Hill Golf Course.

Ted Morrison had a net 30 while Mark Borgar and Kevin Hartley had 32s.

Al Schumann, Dick Craker, Jamie Mohnmey, Dick Davis, Mike Suppa, Dick Merenick, Steve Gelotte, Ed Streich, Bob Caldwell and Rick Thorpe each made birdies.

Mary Sue Golen had a net 35 while Janeal Hedman and Kelly Smith had net 36s.

Ruth Derby hit 12 putts while Gerry Africa was closest to the pin on No. 16 at 8 feet, 4 inches.

WARREN, Pa. — Andrew Gignac’s 36 led on the front nine and Troy Stewart’s 35 led the back nine during Tuesday Night League play at Jackson Valley Golf Course.

Mark Silvis and Terry English shot matching 36s to lead the seniors on the front nine while Chet Loomis led on the back nine with a 39.

Dan Brown’s 34 and Elijah Highhouse’s 33 led the net scores on the front nine and back nine, respectively. For the seniors, Jon Munksgard shot a 29 on the front nine and Ron Irwin’s 33 led on the back nine.

Fred Larson gained 8.5 points and English picked up 8.

Patty Whackers leads the team standings with 46.5 points followed by Mt. Laurel FCU with 44.5, Shaw House with 44.5, Wagner’s Golf with 43.5, Eagles Club with 43 and Bridgette’s Brigade with 43.

RUSSELL, Pa. — Barb Hill shot a 46 and Deb Niederriter had a 47 in the A Flight of the Ladies League at Blueberry Hill Golf Course.

Niederriter’s 34 led the net scores while Hill and Cindy Paulmier had 37s. Sharon Birtcil, Margie Cerra and Sally Moldovan tied for the tournament lead with 15s. This week’s tournament was score on first three holes. Hill and Niederriter had 17s.

In the B Flight, Mary Mackey and Darcy Marek shot matching 51s and Jody Christensen had a 52. Mackey and Marek also had net 35s and Christensen had a 37. Terri Larson and Darcy Marek led the tournament with 15s whel Deb Borst and Lori Eaton had 16s.

Betsy Sobkowski led the C Flight with a 51 while Bev Eldridge and Diedra Swanson had 52s. Sobkowski also had the low net with a 34 while Eldridge and Swanson had 35s. Swanson led the tournament with a 16 while Jill Dart and Donna Zariczny had 17s.

Linda Bajorek, Terry Borger, Cyndi Shield and Karen Sobkowski finished in a four-way tie for the D Flight lead with 58s. Janis Bennett and Sue Shields had 59s. Borger and Shield had the low net score with 37s while Bajorek and Becky Carlson had 38s. Karen Sobkowski led the tournament with a 16 while Erika Alm and Bajorek had 17s.

In the E Flight, Lee Spangler led with a 56 and Betsy Foley had a 60. Spangler’s 32 led the net scores while Foley and Donna Herzog had 36s. Herzog and Spangler led the tournament with 18s while Foley, Joanne Sorensen and Young Hui Waite had 20s.

Linda Dies led the F Flight with a 60 and Cheryl Reagle had a 64. Dies had the low net with a 29 and Amanda Slattery had a 31. Dies led the tournament with a 19 and Jan Moore had a 20.

Melissa Schrader made a 14-foot putt on No. 10.
