Malysia Sorensen belted a triple and Riley Gafner added a run-scoring double for the Diamonds.

Juniors

Wallins Stump Grinding knocked off Tidioute, 12-9, behind the pitching of Alexis Stec, Samantha Childs and Alana Stuart.

Stec smacked four hits and scored two runs; Layla Mohr had three hits, including an inside-the-park home run; Childs had a base hit and scored a pair of runs; and Aubree Ski Edwards had a hit and scored twice to pace the winners.

Bentley Sherry had six strikeouts, Connor Schwabenbauer collected a base hit, and Hunter Ingerson made a fine defensive play at first base for Gretchen E. Porier.
