Ty Bryan struck out seven in three innings on he mound, and right-fielder Logan Kittell threw out a runner at second base and also drove in a run.
Wesley Wilcox had a base hit and Brody Moore pitched well for Ground Zero Stump Grinding.

RUSSELL — Chick Bello fired a 37 for low gross honors and Doug Wheeler shot a 27 for low night to highlight action from the Friday Senior Men’s League at Cable Hollow Golf Course.
Paul Cathcart, Randy Scalise and Pat Black were the top getters with 15.
Wheeler also had 9 points, John Bevevino had an eagle, Bill Petransky recorded three birdies, Bello had two, and Gaylon Critzer, Jack Lobdell, Larry Lodestro, Jon Vincent, Jim Leaskey, Bill Hargenrader, Beevevino and Dave Youngren had one. Registering the most pars with four were Bello, Alan Ludwick, Jon Vincent, Wheeler and Bevevino.

In the A1 Flight (back 9, gold tees), the team of Jesse McMichael and Fred Utegg fired the low gross (30), while Rob Ritchie and Cole Schultz had the low net with a 32. In the A2 Flight (back 9, gold tees), Joe Saber and Gary Freeborough shot a 32 for low gross and Scott Olson and Steve Onuffer had the low net with a 36.
In the B1 Flight (front 9, gold tees), Randy Carlson and Kihm Carlson had the low gross with a 33, and Dennis Scotty and Clayton Waddington had the low net with a 34.

High points winners are Shane Flannery, 8.5; Ron Irwin, 8.0; Bob Carrington, 8.0; Randy Carlson, 8.0; and Al Shene, 8.0.
Joe Saber had the low gross on the front 9 with a 39; Flannery had the low gross on the back 9 with a 1-under 35; and Terry Ressler (40) and Tim Watkins (39) recorded the low gross on the front and back 9s respectively.
