Robinault keys Eisenhower win
Scores 19 points, Knights upend Saegertown, 52-36
RUSSELL — Led by Caleb Robinault, Eisenhower used a big fourth quarter on Senior Night to down Saegertown, 52-36, in a boys basketball game Tuesday.
Robinault drilled a pair of jumpers from beyond the arc — he finished with 19 points — to highlight an 18-9 Knight run in the final period to help even the hosts’ record at 2-2 on the season.
“I talked to Caleb this week,” Eisenhower coach Wayne Lundmark said. “He’s a good shooter and we needed him to shoot more for us. It was nice to see him have a hot hand tonight.”
Luke Smelko added 12 points and Owen Trumbull contributed 11.
Wilkins had 11 points to pace Saegertown (4-3), which trailed 34-27 after three quarters.
The Knights dominated in the rebounding department, which was a big difference in the outcome.
