Several local runners honored by District 10

The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association District 10 Cross Country All-Star Teams were released on Monday, with Eisenhower leading the way for the boys in Region 6.
The Knights tied region champion Rocky Grove with a pair of First-Team selections, senior Ethan Kellogg and sophomore Alex Hummel. Also earning First-Team honors was Hugh Harrison of Warren. Kellogg narrowly missed out on qualifying for the PIAA Championships in his final year with Eisenhower, taking home ninth place at the District 10 Class 1A race in Titusville with a personal-best time of 17:29. Hummel would take home 11th in that race in 17:39.
Rounding out the First Team were Runner of the Year Magnum Vincent of Rocky Grove, Ezekiel White of Titusville, Jack Mumford of Oil City, Ethan Knapp of Rocky Grove and Cael Ziegler of Franklin.
Leading Eisenhower on the Second Team were seniors Tyson Morrison and Matthew Cathcart. Second Team choices also included Dylan Lux of Oil City and Isaiah Yoder of Titusville as well as Easton Adamczyk and Trevor Hamilton of Rocky Grove.
Morrison would finish in 14th place at the District 10 Class A1 meet in 17:58.

Warren led the way for the Region 6 girls All Stars, with junior Katie Beyer earning First-Team honors while sophomore Shyann Rulander earned a spot on the Second Team.
In a victory over Eisenhower on Sept. 24, Beyer took first in 22:58 and Rulander second in 24:37.
Rounding out the First Team were Runner of the Year Nadalie Latchaw of Franklin, Kennedy Liederbach and Olivia Mumford of Oil City, as well as Mackenzie Covell, Shea Titus and Emma Wright from Titusville.
Second-Team choices included Julia Bojaczko of Youngsville, Kailyn Jacoby of Rocky Grove, Madison Nellis, Julia Johnson and Isabella Ongley of Titusville and Ashia Jackson of Oil City.
