People, not politics, are the real election issue
As Election Day draws near, it’s time for all of us in this community to consider what kind of leadership we want in Harrisburg. If you haven’t met me yet, I’m running to represent the values, needs, and priorities of this district.
I’m not a career politician — I’m a small business owner who understands the struggles of working families in our rural district. I know how hard it is to keep a business afloat, balance the budget, and still find time to focus on family. That’s why I’ve built my campaign around the principle of common-sense solutions for real-world problems.
In the final weeks before this election, I want to remind you what’s at stake. For too long, both parties have been caught up in partisan bickering, losing sight of the actual issues that impact our daily lives. The focus should be on fixing our infrastructure, supporting our local businesses, ensuring access to quality health care, and maintaining a safe, thriving community — not on pushing national political agendas that have little relevance here.
I’ve heard from countless neighbors who feel unheard by Harrisburg. They’re tired of politicians making promises they can’t keep and playing politics with people’s lives. Our community deserves better.
We deserve a representative who will stand up for our interests, fight for resources, and bring real solutions to the table. We’ve made great strides in this campaign by focusing on what matters most — bridging the divide between parties and putting people first.
I’ve built a platform around listening to your concerns, from improving roads and broadband access to supporting our farmers, nurses, teachers, and other essential pillars of this community.
These are the issues that affect us here, and they are the issues I will champion in the state legislature. In these last crucial weeks, I ask for your support, not just for me, but for a future that puts our community first.
Together, we can elect a representative who knows what it means to run a business in rural Pennsylvania, to face the challenges of everyday life, and to fight for the resources we need to thrive. We can move past the gridlock in Harrisburg, and we can get things done — together. On Nov. 5, vote for a voice that will truly represent you. Vote for common sense. Vote for the community.
Erin Willman is running for state Representative in District 65 that includes Warren County.
