Biden drives inflation Dear Editor, President Joe Biden has blamed Russia’s Vladimir Putin for the soaring inflation. He doesn’t acknowledge himself as the prime culprit. Once in office, he blocked the Keystone XL pipeline, drilling and fracking on federal lands and drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska. Dear Editor, John Q. Public has been shoved to the curb again. PNC is closing its branch in Youngsville. We can all do our banking now at the east side location. We have the ability to go online to do our banking. I’m sure my 96-year-old mother will be jumping for joy. Our family has been banking in Youngsville for many years through the different entities. Forced choices

Dear Editor, Are we free to choose? I’m bothered by wording on the ballot in recent primary voting. One is instructed to vote for “one female and one male.” These instructions are biased to perhaps force a vote away from one’s choice. Voting is supposed to be free choice. What if one wanted to vote for two females or two males? Why does a red warning pop up that says “under voted” when one decides not to let the ballot steer their vote?
