Kathleen J. McNeal

Kathy was born August 15, 1949, in Warren, PA., to the late Gilbert D. and Ella E. Heeter Burton. Kathy was raised in Sheffield, PA. and was a 1967 graduate of Sheffield High School.

She was employed with the former National Forge Company, Irvine, PA., from 1970 to 1992 and Dr. J. Endres and Warren General Hospital from 1996 to 2012. Kathy enjoyed gardening, reading, collecting cups and saucers for many years. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren, being very proud of her family. She loved working with people and made many friendships.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Donald L. McNeal whom she married on October 20, 1978 in Youngsville, PA., 1 Sister – Debra L. Burton Taylor of Warren, PA., her children, James G. Hovey of Warren, PA., Bethany A. Hovey Hosick of New Castle, KY, Matthew C. Hovey and wife, Danica of Warren, PA., Grandsons, Garrett R. Hosick and Dawson C. Hosick both of New Castle, KY, Granddaughters – Vanessa J. McNeal whom Kathy and Don, adopted in 2005, Praylan Perkins of Coudersport, PA., Sarah J. Hovey of Warren, PA.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Sunday, September 22, 2019, from 5 to 7 P.M. when a funeral and committal service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Marcus Briggs, Retired Minister, officiating.
