Diana Ludwig
Diana”Dee” Montgomery Ludwig, 78, of Youngsville, and formerly of Tidioute, went to be with her Lord on Sunday November 5, 2017 at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice House in Warren.
She was born January 14, 1939 in Tidioute, PA a daughter to the late Calvin and Lena (McChesney) Montgomery Sr. She married the love of her life, Paul C. Ludwig on June 14, 1957, whom preceded her in death on October 20, 2004. Dee was the organist for the Tidioute First Presbyterian Church for 28 years. She also worked as a Bell Telephone operator for a number years. She volunteered as a teacher’s aide and for Hospice for a number of years. She enjoyed baking and was well known for her sugar cookies in the Tidioute area. She also enjoyed camping, sewing and her cats. Her greatest joy though, was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dee is survived by her children, Darla Ludwig Bolton and her husband Fred of Glen Allen, VA, Paula L. Johnson and her husband Ernest of Russell, PA and David M. Ludwig of Tidioute, PA; her grandchildren, Erika Wagner and her husband, Mark, Paul Johnson and his girlfriend Kady, Alexander Johnson and Harrison Ludwig; four great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Donna Johnson and her husband Bill of Tidioute, PA and Jane Baker of the Rouse Home and numerous extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother Calvin Montgomery Jr.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 10 am at the Tidioute First Presbyterian Church with Dennis Ledebur, pastor, and the Rev. Todd Venman, of the Wiltsie Community Church, assisting. Burial will follow in the Swedish Union Cemetery in Tidioute, PA.
