Robert Ruhlman
Robert Glenn Ruhlman age 79, of 404 S. Main Street Sheffield Pa. died at his home at 7:00 pm, Monday July 10, 2017, following a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Bob was born in Warren Pa. on May 9, 1938, the son of the late Glenn G. and Esther Johnson Ruhlman. He graduated from Northern Area High School, and received an associates degree from Devry Technical College. Bob has lived in Sheffield since 1969 moving here from Warren. He was owner operator of Ruhlman’s Electronics and was a member of the Barnes United Methodist Church, a Board member of the Sheffield Depot Preservation Society. He served in the U.S. Army attaining the rank of Spc 4.
Bob is survived by his wife Linda Ferry Ruhlman, whom he married in Warren, June 13, 1964. his son Robert G. Ruhlman ll of Pleasant Twp. And his Feline Companion (Muffin).
The family will receive visitors at the Borden Funeral Home, on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 24 and 79. A funeral service will be held there on Friday July 14, 2017, with Pastor Terry Teluch Pastor of the Barnes Sheffield Greater Parish, Assisted by retired pastor Alan D. Ferry. (Brother in Law).
The family suggests memorial donations to: Paw’s along the river, The Sheffield Depot Preservation Society, or the Barnes United Methodist Church.
