Fulfilling a dream
Three Hounds Creamery mobile trailer hits the streets
Tess Blakeslee fulfilled a dream last week when her new ice cream food truck opened for business.
Blakeslees’s mobile ice cream business is called Three Hounds Creamery, in honor of her three beloved basset hounds, Paisley, Tilly and Lainey. Each pup also has a specialty milkshake named for them.
The mobile ice cream trailer debuted at Ribs N’ Bones in Kiantone, N.Y., recently and then made another appearance in the Lowe’s parking lot.
“I love it. I love being out and interacting with everyone; it’s all I want to be doing,” Blakeslee said.
With just two appearances, the trailer has already sold out of many products. It is waiting for inventory to come in before releasing more pop-ups.
“I didn’t expect to run out of things so fast,” said Blakeslee.
Thankful for the community’s support, Blakeslee will be out and about. Locations can be found by following Three Hounds Creamery on Facebook.
Pop-up dates and locations will be scheduled once inventory is restocked.
Three Hounds Creamery will appropriately be at Woofington Dog Park for their Dogtober Fest on Sunday, October 13, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Three Hounds Creamery carries Perry’s ice cream and specialty milkshakes with various topping choices.
Blakeslee lives in Russell with her husband, Buddy, and the three hounds. Three Hounds Creamery can be reached by emailing threehounds01@gmail.com.
