Open houses for Warren County adult diploma program planned
The Warren Forest Higher Education Council (Hi-Ed) is inviting adults who did not complete high school to explore a new opportunity to earn a Warren Area High School diploma through the Warren County Adult Diploma Program.
Unlike a traditional GED program, the Adult Diploma Program allows eligible students to earn a high school diploma while building practical academic and workforce skills. The program is designed to meet students where they are and help them achieve their educational and career goals in a supportive learning environment.
Community members interested in learning more are encouraged to attend one of three free Open House events in the Beaty Warren Middle School Library to take place over the next three months from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the following dates: Thursday, July 23; Wednesday, August 19, and Monday, Sept. 14.
During the Open House, prospective students will have the opportunity to learn about the program, meet instructors, ask questions, determine eligibility, and register for classes.
Students who successfully complete the program will earn a Warren Area High School Diploma.
The program fee is $125. However, the fee will be waived for anyone who attends one of the Open House events.
