Youngsville man picked up after months on the run

A Youngsville man facing felony drug charges who has been on the run for over five months is now in custody.

Warren County Drug Task Force representatives said in a Facebook post Tuesday night that Kevin Anderson was “captured out of state and is currently incarcerated at the Warren County Jail.”

Online court records show that he faces multiple slates of criminal charges.

He was charged back in January by City of Warren police on Jan. 18 with conspiracy (permission with intent to deliver) and criminal use of a communications facility, both felonies, from an incident that occurred on Jan. 13.

Those charges are before a county district judge and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 13.

Court records show that he was arraigned Thursday morning by District Judge Todd Woodin and bail was set at $100,000.

Anderson also faces Court of Common Pleas charges for an alleged incident of false reports that occurred in June 2022.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office had posted to Facebook back in July that Anderson was wanted on felony charges.

Starting at $3.50/week.
