The streets were alive with the sound of music.
On Thursday, the Warren Philharmonic, joined by advanced music students from Warren County Summer Music School, performed the annual Pops by the Fountain concert on Second Avenue.
Hundreds of people – estimates were in the range of 600 – came out for the annual event.
The selections included Hungarian Dance No. 5, pieces from Mamma Mia, and patriotic favorites.
In addition to SMS students from middle school to adult joining the musicians, other SMS students sang and danced during parts of the show.
The weather was ideal for the event and attendees set up chairs in the middle of Second Avenue and along the storefronts and sidewalks.
