Youngsville teams win Warren County Envirothon

There was a three-peat Friday at the annual Warren County Envirothon.
The Striking Starlings from Youngsville High School scored 337 points to win the varsity division.
The Youngsville team — featuring Fawne Hackman, Madi Carnahan, and Asher Button — has now won three years in a row.
Tidioute Community Charter School took the next two places with Eastern scoring 310 and Northern finishing with 294 narrowly edging Team White of Warren Area High School’s 292.
In the junior varsity division, Youngsville Middle School’s Green Team took first place with a score of 246.
Sheffield Middle School’s Snail Squad was second with 245, and the Fab Five from Beaty-Warren Middle School took third by a slim margin over The Eagles from Youngsville — 235 to 233.
