Local author releases new novel
Timothy Lyon
Local author Timothy Lyon published his newest novel, “Ashes: A World’s Fair Saga,” the first historical suspense novel in his “World’s Fair Series.”
“Ashes” tells the story of Aleksandar Scott in the year 1810, an inventor looking to make his future in Well’s Peake at the first-ever World’s Fair. Until, his invention falls into the hands of a mysterious masked man, and the murders of several prominent innovators come to light.
“Ashes” is a London-inspired thriller with an addictive tale of mystery and suspense. Aleksandar’s story will take readers on a journey as he follows his dreams and finds terror along the way.
“Ever since I was a kid, I noticed how excited I became over certain stories,” Timothy said. “I wasn’t able to pin down what it was, but the process of creating a story for others to enjoy and experience grew over the years. Whether it was a book, TV show, movie, or video game, to experience a world different from our own was something that drew me in. Storytelling has become my life, and even through the doubt and sacrifices to get to where I’m at, I don’t regret a thing. This book is proof that despite having big dreams, we’re not too little to reach them.”
Lyon is a native who enjoys film making, writing, and cooking. He has called Warren County home for most of his life and enjoys supporting local business and creators. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Visual Effects and Motion Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and has done extensive research in book design and storytelling. Timothy is currently working on several novels, including an Ashes sequel titled, Eclipse, and his Gothic horror novella, Bedlam.
“Ashes: A World’s Fair Saga” is available in hardcover, paperback, and e Book on all major markets, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and more.
