Preliminary hearings held Wednesday

Two guilty pleas were entered, charges were withdrawn against two and one was held for court during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

Gary L. Hanson, II, Clarendon, to possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of possession of a controlled substance was not prosecuted.

Todd M. Millard, 42, Aliquippa, Pa., to possession of a controlled substance. Two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia were withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following:

Marcus A. Beatty, 24, Jamestown, NY. Beatty had been charged with retail theft. Two counts of retail theft were re-categorized as non-traffic offenses.

Halen E. Hartson, 20, Jamestown, NY. Hartson had been charged with retail theft. Two counts of retail theft were re-categorized as non-traffic offenses.

Troy A. Dew, 42, Pittsfield, was held for court. Dew has been charged with indecent assault and harassment.
