Preliminary hearings held Wednesday

Two guilty pleas were entered, charges were withdrawn against three and one was held for court during preliminary hearings held on Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

¯ George A. Flasher, 19, Sheffield, to driving without a license and disorderly conduct. Charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle without valid inspection were withdrawn.

¯ Jacob C. Jordan, 32, Warren, to possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while operating privilege suspended or revoked, operating a vehicle without valid inspection and careless driving.

Charges were withdrawn against the following defendants:

¯ Hali A. Foster, 29, Clarendon. Foster had been charged with simple assault. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Nathan P. Foster, 37, Clarendon. Foster had been charged with simple assault. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Samantha A. McGaughey, 34, Irvine. McGaughey had been charged with retail theft.

¯ Travis W. Berkhous, 30, Warren, was held for court. Berkhous has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving an unregistered vehicle and operating a vehicle without valid inspection.
