The Warren County Drug Task Force took action on a long-term investigation Wednesday morning and took an alleged meth dealer off the street.

Numerous agents descended upon Ben’s Games of Skill, 365 Main St., Pittsfield, shortly after 8 a.m., serving an arrest warrant.

Police made entry and found two people inside.

Todd V. Hebner, 56, of Pittsfield, is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine; and two counts of criminal use of a communications facility.

“We’ve conducted a five-month investigation into the sale of methamphetamine at Ben’s Games of Skill,” Warren County Chief Detective Tom Kibbey said Tuesday morning at the scene. “We have an arrest warrant signed for the owner, Todd Hebner.”

Hebner was taken into custody without incident. Kibbey said the other person found in the residence would be released.

He was arraigned before District Judge Todd Woodin and taken to Warren County Jail after failing to post $50,000 bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8.

Both lanes of Route 27 were closed for more than half an hour during the arrest. Eastbound traffic was diverted using Dalrymple Street and Route 6. The road was opened to one lane of traffic, then to both lanes by 9 a.m.

Police activity continued at the scene.

“We’re going to be conducting a search warrant of the business and residence,” Kibbey said.

In addition to Drug Task Force agents, K-9s Dina (Kibbey) and Nic (Conewango Township Police Officer Scott Neiswonger) were involved in the search at the scene.

Starting at $3.50/week.
