Entries for the Warren County Conservation District second annual photo contest will be accepted for another month.

The contest showcases local art in the following categories: tractors, birds, flowers, and people in nature. All entries must be taken in Warren County.

Entries should be submitted as matted 8-by-10 photos without frames to the Warren County Conservation District, 4000 Conewango Ave., Warren.

On the back, information including the name of the entrant/photographer, address, phone number, and place where the shot was taken, and the category into which it is to be entered. Entrants are asked to include $2 per entry.

There is a limit of two photos per category per entrant.

The entry deadline is 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17.

Photos will be judged by members of the Warren Camera Club on Oct. 6, with the winners announced on Oct. 8.

The public is welcome to visit the WCCD office between Sept. 20 and Oct. 4 to vote for their favorites in each category. Those votes will contribute to the People’s Choice Awards.

A $50 gift card will be awarded to the photo judged Best of Show. First prize and People’s Choice photos will win $10 gift cards.

Photos submitted to the contest may be used by the WCCD without restriction.
