The Victim Impact Panel can help people see the devastation that can be wrought by drunk, drugged, and distracted drivers.

“The Warren County Victim Impact Panel is a non-profit organization that provides support for victims of DUI and educates the public about the devastating consequences that can result from drinking and driving. We also advocate against driving under the influence of drugs and distracted driving

Sometimes, that means having victims talk about what drunk driving has done to them, their lives, and their families.

Other times, the group rewards young people who are on the right path.

This week, the Victim Impact Panel awarded its annual scholarships.

The scholarships are awarded to seniors from each county high school based on essays about the impacts of drunk driving.

“The Warren County Victim Impact Panel is proud to announce the winners of its annual scholarships,” VIP Board Member Lisa Rivett said. “The winners are Jared Beers (Eisenhower High School); Amalia Sabella (Tidioute Community Charter School); Rebecca Henry (Youngsville High School); Cammie Crouse (Warren County Christian School); Victoria Childress (Sheffield High School); and Sydney Anderson (Warren Area High School).”

Starting at $4.00/week.
