Erie man accused of sexual assault at State Hospital
An Erie man has been charged with taking women to a secluded location at Warren State Hospital and sexually assaulting them.
Ramon A. Richmond, 31, of Erie, was arraigned on separate dockets before District Justice Laura Bauer on Monday.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, Richmond walked with separate women on two occasions between Monday, Jan. 15, and Saturday, Jan. 20, to a staircase on the hospital grounds. Once there, according to Pennsylvania State Police, Richmond asked each woman for oral sex.
Both women refused the requests, according to police.
According to the affidavit in the first docket, after the victim refused, Richmond pulled his genitals out of his pants and forced the victim to give him oral sex.
According to the second affidavit, Richmond grabbed the second victim’s arm after she refused, unzipped his pants and continued to request oral sex. The second defendant got away from Richmond and fled, according to police.
On the first docket, Richmond was charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, indecent assault, indecent exposure, harassment, and open lewdness.
On the second docket, Richmond was charged with indecent assault, harassment, and open lewdness.
He was held for court and taken to Warren County jail after failing to post $125,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31.
