Library thanks
recent “Angels”
“There continues to be a great outpouring of support for our Library Angel Tree this year,” said Library Director Kristy Wallace. “What makes this type of fundraiser a bit more unique is that the donor has a variety of options when deciding what ornament they want to sponsor. Both the denominations and items listed on each ornament vary, so a person can choose how much they wish to donate and what they would like to see the donation go toward. So far our most popular donations are going toward our general operating expenses, circulation materials -like books, and office supply items such as stamps.”
“Another trend for this year is the number of people who are sponsoring an Angel on behalf of someone else as either an In Honor Of or In Memoriam donation,” Wallace said. “For those who do choose to donate on someone else’s behalf, we offer both acknowledgement and thank you cards to mark the occasion. But really the bottom line is that we are very appreciative for all of our Library Angels and we can’t thank them enough for helping to keep this wonderful library open.”
Now through Friday, Dec. 19, the Angel Tree fundraiser will remain on display and ornaments are still available for sponsorship. Regular business hours are: Mon & Tues Noon-7:30, Wed 10-5, and Fri Noon-4. To become a Library Angel either visit the Library during business hours or you can mail a general Library Angel donation to: Youngsville Public Library C/o Library Angel Program, 100 Broad Street, Youngsville, PA 16371.
