ANF celebrates Wild and Scenic Rivers Act

The Allegheny National Forest will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act on Tuesday. Two rivers that run through the forest, the Allegheny and the Clarion, are designated under the act. A scale model timber raft built by volunteers at the Toy Shoppe on the grounds of Warren State Hospital will be on public display for the first time.
