Classes to lunch

The Warren Area High School class of 1964 will meet for lunch on Oct. 22 at the Draft House at noon. All members of the class and their spouses or significant others are welcome.

Bon Ton lunch group

The Bon Ton lunch group will meet for lunch on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at Jack’s Tap House in Warren at 12:30 p.m.

Dems to meet

The Warren County Democrats will hold their monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, in the Computer Lab, Warren Public Library.

Polka Sunday

The Slovenian Polka Boosters will meet from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at Wildwoods, with Bobby Kravos, of Pittsburgh, performing. There will be music for all types of dancing and the public is invited.

Spaghetti dinner fundraiser

A spaghetti dinner fundraiser to benefit the community will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., or until gone, on Saturday, Oct. 27, at Holy Redeemer Church in Warren. The cost is $8 per adult and $4 for children. Takeouts are available. The dinner, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, is open to the public.

Red Kettle kickoff

The Second Annual Red Kettle Kickoff Breakfast will be held at 7 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at Conewango Club in Warren.

Through the Red Kettles, The Salvation Army is raising funds to provide programs and services for neighbors in need.

Individual tickets are $20. Event tickets include food. There is also a short program and auction items. Doors open at 7 a.m.

League of Women Voters

The League of Women Voters of Warren County invites anyone interested to its annual membership meeting to be held Thursday, Oct 18, at the Wilder Museum of Warren County History, 51 Erie Ave., Irvine.

At 6 p.m., a tour of the museum features notable women and vintage fashions plus other historical displays. At 7 p.m., light refreshments will be available and a power point program “League of Women Voters – a Voice for Citizens, A Force for Change – Making Democracy Work,” with leaders of the local league.

A business meeting follows, introducing new programs for 2019.
