Woman rescued after kayak capsizes in creek

Area responders rescued a woman whose kayak capsized Thursday morning in the Conewango Creek.
Around 11:30 a.m., Glade Volunteer Fire Department responded to the call for a water rescue. It launched its vessel from Big Four Road within 15 minutes.
Before noon, the rescue was made. Russell Volunteer Fire Department assisted as did the Warren City Fire Department.
