Pittsfield man to serve additional jail time

A Pittsfield man who was sentenced in March to serve time behind bars will now spend an additional 5 to 10 years in prison. Tyler Engle was sentenced Friday on three dockets by President Judge Gregory Hammond of the Court of Common Pleas. Engle, 33, has been sentenced to between 5 years and 10 years in prison to satisfy guilty pleas on three court dockets. Pa. man charged after allegedly threatening Catt. Co. deputy

A man with ties to Warren County, Pa., has been charged after allegedly threatening a Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office deputy. Layton Love, 46, was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with interstate communication of a threat, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison. Discovery of handgun is under investigation

The discovery of a loaded handgun in a restroom is under investigation. According to a source with knowledge of the situation, the gun was found at Warren Lowe's. The individual claimed it was loaded after it was found by a worker. Law enforcement verified a gun was found but said it was Saturday night when it was discovered.
