PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE

— SHEFFIELD — Troopers are investigating an attempted burglary at a detached shed on the victim’s property. They responded Oct. 26 to the property after the victim observed pry marks on the window of his wooden shed on Keystone Avenue. Minor damage to the frame was observed. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact 814-728-3600.

— CLARENDON — Pennsylvania State Police at Warren investigated an assault at 100 N. Main St. on Oct. 23. Madeline Edwards, 82, and Tammy Wester, 60, both of Clarendon Borough, engaged in a verbal argument that turned physical. Wester pushed Edwards in the chest area causing her to fall down and sustain two broken ribs. Charges were filed through district court.

— On Oct. 28, Pennsylvania State Police at Warren investigated a harassment at the Warren State Hospital. A physical altercation occurred where Kathleen Middleton, 55, of Warren, pushed Benjamin Hodak, 42, of Pleasantville in the chest area. A citation for harassment was filed through District Court.

— At 1:04 p.m. Friday, State Police at Warren were informed of criminal mischief on Bronzeback Lane, Limestone Township. Troopers discovered Donald Genter, 66, of Tidioute had cut down three trees belonging to the victim and then stole the timber. This case is currently under investigation.
