The Trails & Rails Equestrians had the opportunity to learn a new skill at Mick Farm Boarding Stables in Elgin, Pa., on Sunday, Feb. 11. Randy and Debbie VanOrd taught the club the basics of handling a rope on the ground. The students are excited to use their new roping skills to participate in the ground roping competition at the 4-H District 8 horse show and possibly even at the 4-H State Championship Horse Show held later this year.
