Bridge results

Laurie Curren and Lynn Way came in first on Monday at the YMCA with Lana Creal and Chick Bello in second. At the Woman’s Club on Thursday, Connie Michell and Rita Mancuso were first and second. The annual January Bridge Marathon at the Woman’s Club ended on Friday with Sharon Rissel and Bill Kuppinger in first place, followed by Marcy O’Brien and Nan Cashman in second.

Outdoor club to ski

The Allegheny Outdoor Club will participate in the Eagle Watch at Kinzua Dam on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Big Bend Visitor Center. The group wll ski or hike in the Economite Road area on Sunday, Feb. 4 and will meet at Musante St. at 1 p.m. for that event.

Books are wrapped in paper and only a brief description is provided. Read a book from the display and submit a rating card by Feb. 24 at 5 p.m. to have your name entered into a drawing for a $25 Amazon gift card.
