luncheon today
Warren High School Class of 1951 will hold its monthly luncheon at Pub 302 at 11:30 a.m. today. All classmates are welcome to attend.
Pomona Grange meets
Officers were selected at a recent meeting of the Warren-Forest Pomona Grante. Matt Irons was selected as master, Jean Hollabaugh as overseer, Bob Hollabaugh as steward, Miranda Irons as lady assistant steward, Deanna Hollabaugh as chaplain, Wendy Hendricks as treasurer and Kelly Van Ord as secretary. Upcoming events include an auction at the fairgrounds on Sat., Nov. 19, at 1 a.m. and a community harvest dinner at the Watson Grange on Nov. 20, at 12:30 p.m.
Life-NWPA to
present
Erin Tighe will be sharing ways that Life-NWPA can help seniors during a presentation on Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. at the Brokenstraw Adult Activity Center, Youngsville First United Methodist Church. LIFE stands for Living Independence For the Elderly and focuses on helping seniors stay in their own homes as long as possible. Following the discussion, Tighe will share an exercise routine that will help seniors improve their balance capabilities.
