Anyone witnessing an unusually high level of helicopter activity along waterways in Warren County can be confident it is related to black fly spraying. According to a release from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, “Helicopter flight activity will commence in the near future in and around Warren County. This activity is directly related to the spraying of waterways within our county to include, but not limited to the Allegheny River, Brokenstraw, Conewango, and Tionesta creeks.” Anyone with questions or concerns may contact the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency at (800) 424-7362 or (717) 651-2001.
