‘Make it and take it’ class to begin at Allegheny Center

The “make it and take it” class is a way to enjoy each other’s company and make something with a favorite recipe. Organizers ask seniors to bring a recipe that the group can prepare and share.

Among recipes organizers hope will be shared are baked goodies, entrees for two and recipes that everyone always ask to be made. The food will be enjoyed and may be turned into an Allegheny Community Center calendar.

Those who plan to attend are asked to call 814-723-4180.

Other new programs include:

¯ Team bowling beginning at 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays starting Aug. 25 at the Valley Bowling Center in Youngsville. New members are needed. For more information, call Heidi Thomas at 814-230-9664.
