Horse safety program will be held

SHEFFIELD — The Warren County 4-H Horse Program will hold Horses, Safety and You on Oct. 3 at the Two Mile Creek Ranch in Sheffield.

The clinic will feature Lew Trumble, equine extension associate, as he reviews the Pennsylvania 4-H Horsemanship Skills Program, horse vitals and rider safety. The program is open to youth between the ages of 5 and 18 as of Jan. 1 who participated in one of the six horse clubs in the county during the 2019-2020 4-H year.

Registration details may be obtained by contacting Jennifer Grooms at jag46@psu.edu or calling 814-563-9388. Members will be limited per session and masks will be required. The deadline to sign up is Monday, Sept. 28.
