Golden Living-Kinzua transferring day-to-day operations to Guardian Elder Care
Golden Living Center-Kinzua is operating under new ownership.
A recent sale saw 14 Western Pennsylvania Golden Living Centers transfer day-to-day operations to Guardian Elder Care. The local branch, Golden Living Center -Kinzua, was among those to change ownership.
Golden Living Centers provide rehabilitation therapy, nursing care, pharmacy services, hospice, and personal care services.
The Kinzua branch’s building, located at 205 Water St. in Warren, was not sold. Only the day-to-day operations were transferred, according to Michelle Metzger, Golden Living Director of Communications.
“We want to be very clear that the building itself was not sold,” Metzger said. “The change is in day-to-day operations.”
The transfer of operations will be effective October 1. Guardian Elder Care’s headquarters are located in Brockway. Golden Living Center runs their operations out of Plano, Texas.
