November 29-December 1: A Christmas Spectacular at Struthers Library Theatre. Molly Dies’ Dance Express. A high-kicking, heart-warming, hometown Christmas musical; full of singing, dancing, and a Christmas storyline; www.StruthersLibraryTheatre.com or (814) 723-7231 for details.

November 30: Scandia Vol. Fire dept., 5950 Scandia Road, Russell. Turkey party, doors open at 6 p.m. Party starts at 7 p.m.; $3 donation at the door and prizes are guns, meats, and cash.

December 4: December 4, Story Hour, 10:30 a.m., at Youngsville Public Library. December’s Theme is “Winter Wonderment.” Enjoy stories, games, and songs, with a free snack, too! Free, no pre-registration required, and open to all ages. Story Hour is the first Wednesday each month. Next dates: January 8, February 6.

December 6: Victorian Christmas & Horse-Drawn Trolley Tours, 6 to 8:30 p.m., Historical Society. First-come, first-serve. Advanced purchase recommended. www.warrenhistory.org

December 7: LeAnn Rimes at Struthers Library Theatre at 8 p.m. Tickets at www.StruthersLibraryTheatre.com, Theatre Office, or (814) 723-7231.

December 8: Silver Winds Flute Choir presents A Patchwork of Seasons. This free concert begins at 2 p.m. Sunday at the 1st United Methodist Church, 200 Market St Warren. Donations are accepted.

December 8: The Grace United Methodist Church Choir presents its annual Christmas concert: “Because of Love,” 3:40 p.m.

December 9: 4:30 p.m. After School with Mrs. Claus, Warren Public Library Children’s Department. Holiday stories, songs, crafts, treats. Preregistration appreciated. Leave a message for Children’s staff at (814) 723-4650.

December 13: “It’s a Sugar Grove Christmas”, Sugar Grove Santa arrives at 5 p.m. by Sugar Grove Fire Truck to the Town Park, hayrides, Business give, aways, music, displays, and Fireworks, ending at 7 p.m.

December 14: Annual Christmas Cookie Sale, First United Methodist Church, 9 a.m. to noon. Thousands of Christmas Cookies for sale, Second Hand Jewelry Sale, Gently-Used Christmas Items.

December 14: Noon, Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa and Mrs. Claus, Warren Public Library, Slater Room. Holiday stories, songs, crafts, treats. Preregistration appreciated. Leave a message for Ms. Susan at (814) 723-4650.

December 14: Wreaths Across America at Wesleyan Cemetery at noon, sponsored by AMVETS Post 50 and American Legion Post 758.

Mondays, September 16 to December 9: Toddler Time: 10:30 a.m., Warren Public Library Children’s Department. Stories, songs, crafts, creative play, ages 1-4.

Tuesdays, September 17 to December 10: Build It Up, Take It Down, 3 to 5 p.m., Warren Public Library Children’s Department. STEM play with blocks, LEGOs, Magna Tiles, Bee-Bots, Bloco Robots and other toys that enhance learning.

Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays: Have You Visited the Book Cellar? In the lower level of the Warren Public Library. Selection of books for children, teens, and adults, plus DVDs & puzzles; priced from $.25- $4. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 7:30 p.m., Thursdays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or whenever you see Sherm the Book Worm flying outside.
