Commodores coming to Warren

The Commodores will be performing at Struthers Library Theatre in Warren on Saturday, Oct, 21 at 8 p.m. One of the greatest Motown and R&B / funk artists of all time, the Commodores have influenced artists both young and old for decades. Their set list will include classic songs such as “Night Shift,” “Brick House,” “Easy,” “Sail On,” and more. After churning out hit after hit in the Motown days, the Commodores still had not achieved Grammy recognition. This wasn’t to be until 1986, without Lionel Richie, when the Commodores released “Night Shift”. The Commodores have 75 Million Albums Sold Worldwide, have 7 number one singles, 5 number one albums, and more. Today the Commodores stand not only as talented and successful musicians, but as artists determined to continue their success into the future. With a brand that is bigger than ever, The Commodores continue to blaze trails all over the world. This celebrity series event is sponsored by Northwest Bank and The Defrees Family Memorial Fund. Tickets are available at strutherslibrarytheatre.org or call 814-723-7231.
