Beaty and Youngsville junior high track and field team members competed in a meet at War Memorial Field Wednesday. COCHRANTON – Eisenhower ran into a powerful Cochranton squad on Wednesday, dropping a 16-1 decision to their Region 3 counterparts. Youngsville fell victim to a hot-hitting Saegertown squad in an 11-2 setback at Legion Field. Josh Weaver had three hits and a pair of RBIs for Saegertown, while Steven Sipie was 2-for-2, with two runs scored and a pair of RBIs.
