TIONESTA, Pa. – Youngsville’s girls and Sheffield’s boys track and field teams picked wins in a tri-meet at North Clarion Thursday. The Lady Eagles topped the Wolverines, 82-41, but were narrowly edged by the Wolves, 77-73. The Wolverines beat the Eagles, 79-62. The Wolves topped the Eagles, 83-66. The Youngsville Eagles turned in a strong effort in a 14-8 setback to Seneca on Thursday. UNION CITY, Pa. – Youngsville’s track and field team earned a dual meet split at Union City Tuesday. The boys topped the Bears, 78-53, while the Lady Eagles fell 88-61. “We were a little tight from the Harbor Creek meet over the weekend, but the kids pushed through,” Youngsville coach John Victor said. “We did well overall and had a lot of freshmen step up.
