Immigration and faith Dear Editor, Do you think we should post the Ten Commandments in schools? What about some other Bible verses about The Law? It may help, because there are some that spell out dealing with immigrants in pretty straight forward terms. Realize the first Biblical immigrants were the Israelites themselves. God’s Chosen People. Merger just not impacting students

This is an open letter to the Warren school board. What is the plan for preparing (academically and mentally) students who attend Youngsville High School and who now may have to switch schools? This would be a major change in their lives. I want to know how staff at both Youngsville High and Eisenhower High School are getting ready to deal with a possible merger. Will a student from either school who has been a member of a sports team be kicked off that team because of increased competition? I was a Youngsville High School student. Proposal fails to look at big transportation picture

As the vote to close Youngsville High School and move the grade nine to 12 Sheffield students, it is evident that the district has not thought this plan all the way through on many of the aspects that pertain to this ill-fated plan. One of the biggest areas of question is over the transportation of and its effects on the Youngsville students to Eisenhower. There are several problems with what the district is proposing and claiming when it comes to this matter.
